Riparius performed the phased interior renovation of 30,000 square feet on two floors for the Biomedical Research Institute, creating a production laboratory, a vivarium and repository in an occupied building. The project included conversion of 13,900 sf of existing labs and offices on the 1st floor into to two large rooms to house the freezers for the cell repository: ultra low -80c freezers, and a bank of liquid nitrogen freezers, with an external 3,000 liter bulk tank for liquid nitrogen.
