Riparius constructed an addition and performed extensive renovations in MedImmune’s 15,000 square foot facility in Gaithersburg, MD. The brick on block addition included an animal holding area, autoclave, chemical storage room, irradiator room and radioactive waste room. Renovations to the Quality Control lab and the development area were phased so as not to disrupt MedImmune’s daily activities. The renovations to the cell culture area included stainless steel casework, specialty gases, WFI, clean steam CIP, waste decontamination systems, boiler upgrade, air compression upgrade, cold box and metrology lab.
Riparius performed the interior fitout of their 90,500 square foot facility in Frederick, MD. The spaces in this manufacturing facility include clean rooms, R&D space, Quality Control labs and administrative offices.
