Modification of the 36,000 square foot plaza level of a precast parking structure to provide 30 new parking spaces and an upgraded outdoor amenity area for building tenants. Riparius worked with the structural engineer and our concrete subcontractor to devise a plan to remove portions of the existing structure and cast a new vehicular ramp while maintaining access and use of the existing parking spaces during construction. The new parking and plaza area includes a sculptural fabric sunscreen spanning new light poles, a planted architectural mesh screen between the pedestrian and parking areas, trees, decorative lighting and outdoor furniture.
