Contract: $7 Million
Riparius was the Construction Manager for a new two-story, 8,400 square foot building for the Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse Teams for Johns Hopkins University. The building’s structure is a hybrid of cast-in-place concrete for the lower level and steel framing for the upper level. The façade is brick veneer and curtainwall. The facility includes locker rooms, a training room and therapy pool, a team meeting room and film review room, a reception room as well as the coach’s offices. Numerous sustainable features were incorporated, including a green roof and rain gardens, and the project was certified LEED Gold.
